It's been a very wet and moderately cool July which would translate into thicker grass and weeds with more hiding places for small animals and reptiles. I'm looking forward to the upcoming squirrel season. Hunting squirrels has always been my favorite season. As a young boy in high school I was always out in the woods no matter what the temperature was I hunted squirrels the full season.
